About Us

​​​​​Since 1997, SONshine Preschool is dedicated to providing the Oskaloosa community with a quality pre-kindergarten program that not only teaches school readiness skills, but also proclaims the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.​

 

We believe children are image bearers of Christ, uniquely created to:

  • Joyfully share, cooperate, and take turns with others

  • Class options:  Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs, 8-2pm

  • Extended Learning is available on Mondays (2-3:10pm)

  • Our program follows the Iowa Early Learning Standards for preschools established by the Department of Education

  • Our program meets the verification standards of the Iowa Quality Preschool Program Standards
